haha. cant screen the highlights of the manchester derby match. =X

alright nvm. this week was damn fun. sunday nite reserved for some soccer action and arsenal duly delivered. 6-2 against the blackburn rovers. 6 different scorers impressed me. fabregas almost made them all. haha.

so i will try again putting arsenal video highlights up again this time and let's see if the same prob will occur after a few days that the video had infringed some copyrights. lol

well, great game isn't? i was talking about the Manchester derby yesterday night. 4-3 the final score. simply awesome. the red devils triumphed AGAIN.

i was at the chances lounge along kitchener rd with kim n jona to catch this game. the place was really nice if u wan some quiet moments cos fanbased places are noisy, i assured u. haha

but i tink i was the super enthu man utd fan over there as i jumped and shouted when the devils scored. haha esp the last great goal by michael owen.

elsewhere sat midnight, my fav Fernando Torres scored two splendid goals to lead Liverpool towards victory. fantastic strikes. Every schoolboy should watch Fernando Torres; his movement with the ball and his work off it. He’s brave, slides in where the studs go (goal one) and then puts his head in where it hurts (goal two). What a player.

back to army. this is the last week for atec training. going to do well and perform during the actual evaluation from 29 to 31 sept. we can do it, mortar platoon. on time on target. that's what we are.

the dust has settled. the surgery is done. nice. 10min. all it takes for an extraction and excision of the upper n lower wisdom tooth. only the impacted one need more time and precision to remove.

thank you i said with it some lingual paraesthesia , then came the sweet 'you're welcome' from the surgeon.

lost quite alot of blood today. i filled two or three crazed folding with my blood. hahaha. 5 days of MC plus medication. not so frightening la...well maybe my surgeon is such a sweet lady.

only porridge and fruit juices from now on. next appt to unstitch. then i am almost done.. 2weeks more to full recovery!

welcome to National Dental Centre.

spent a short 25min there before they closed to get the last check on my 4 baby wisdom tooths. and oh dear i will be removing 2 of them on d next coming monday. i am going to lose two tooths but well they are unimportant. in fact just harmful.

okie that was what i did for the whole monday. yeap after a painful 3.5hr wait in the SGH A&E clinic. yea. the few uncles and aunties were grumbling that why SGH A&E thought they were A&E with this kind of standard. but we do kinda expected it dont we? maybe the real 'busy and urgent A&E' is not like that (should be like what we always see in movies or tele rite) with bloody bodies coming in, paramedics and nurse shouting EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME!

SUNDAY was more fun. ARMY HALF MARATHON in the morning...going out at night to watch my lovely red devils play followed by seeing the Anfield faithfuls singing their hearts out but to leave in slight disappointment as the Reds went down the longkang 2-1. MAN UTD din play too well but managed to grind a 1-nil victory, kinda expected asp the devils are slow-starters. give everybody more time, i believe we will see better results from both MAN UTD and LIVERPOOL. and play like ARSENAL opener against the Toffees(everton). nobody cares abt man city and chelsea.. i hate the BLUES.

the sky is clear and there is no CAT 1.
great. mission clear to proceed. me and weijie planned this midnite picnic @ marina barrage since last week. buying the food, calling the people, all in hope of a fun saturday night.

so things went on as planned, just that our justin, peiqi and newest member- shuli couldn't join with their resp. commitments. don't worry, many many other opportunities coming huh..

soup,sandwiches,chips,chocolate,drinks. eat till u full.
haha. but then 12.55am - the sky opened up - literally.
the damn water sprinkler in operation. enemy attack!

in the end, me and jie just make use of the water to wash my groundsheet. haha

haha. the nite ended with a drinking game and there is no prize for guessing who is tipsy at the end.

hello people.

end of july around the corner. that means 6 more months to my unofficial ORD. last 3 months aft my last army exam (ATEC 2) will be slacking all the way.
i love that!

now being an NSF, i fully and truli understand why most NSF cant wait to ORD asap. not saying that army isnt good as it is indeed true that i have learnt many life lessons/skill in it, made some good life-friends along the way, made some enemies too. but it's just all part n parcel of life. a growing up experience i would say.

personal tolerance level has to be damn high especially... finding every reason u can to cheer urself up after completing all the shit jobs assigned or a tough day in the office; kena scolded for a thing u are not responsible for.. so on and so forth... haha

oh well watever...so the next best thing is looking forward for the weekends.
after a long week in camp, all u wan to be is no.1 ur home - the shelter to the wind and rain outside. my comfy home. other than will be spending the saturdays hanging out with some best friends who know u almost inside out.

so guys n gals I love going out with u all. it made my day and surely a motivation for me to endure thru each boring/tough week.

where are you girl? she went out of contact completely. perhaps she did it in a good will so i will slowly move her out of the picture. should i say thank you or rather... i dunno. i tink its good in a way, i am already moving on. the concern i have for her is truly friendship. maybe she went to new york? i dunno, since she not longer working in aranda le.. haha.

i may be very tired.
and at times i really keep myself away.
but feelings overwhelmed. i failed occasionally.

i spent most of my energy n time on my friends and family now esp studies is currently away on vacation and NS stepped in. i realised more the importance of my friends and time to change some of my bad habits

she taught me to be even more humble, less demanding, more understanding. honestly, in the past, when i wanted something or things to be done. i want it quickly, settle asap. i duno really know how to relax bit and yet completing the job. i only wan details, efficient, quick.. nth else matter even i have to sacrifice my time or perhaps even hurting somebody or stepping on their nerves...

but when it comes to r/s, i cannot apply the same principles. although i know what i wanted, i must know how to set the pace. anyway, i dun change so quickly when it come to r/s.

fitness month...with the AHM coming on the 16th of August
we are preparing for it by running n running...
i dislike running but there is no way i can deny that being able to run is a great asset in SAF. esp in infantry. haha

anyway. my goals now are pretty simple.
one. clear SOC
two. IPPT Gold/Silver
three. REDCON 1 for ATEC 1

by the end of sept should be able to achieve!

backtracking to me myself with the world outside. my favourite red devils continue to surprise me with some funny signings but i just got to trust alex fergie rite that he is not bringing manutd to retire with him. obertan,owen,valencia?
hope to see hunterlaar, eto'o and co joining...

trying my best to meet up with all my friends...but u noe nowadays ppl are very busy one.. haha so got to wait lo.. haha

critics have been coming down quite heavily on Ecuadorian Luis Antonio (Valencia) as to whether he is able to replace the outgoing CR7.

well...for goodness sake, i tink why not just let the boy settle down and show us the magic that persaude Sir Alex Ferguson to pump in 16million pounds for his signature. I believe he may not be the one to replace CR7 directly cos he is a player of his own.

well. my jurong island duties finally ended on this great day 1st July. 8 more days and i am a ONE YEAR SOLDIER. good job, boy.

awesome. one whole month didnt touch my blog.
mostly because i am too lazy and time isnt on my side either.
army took almost all my time away.
and now my whole unit is stranded at jurong isld on ops.

1.5days of free time. army really taught me how to appreciate and manage my time. in short, time-management lesson accomplished.

i love to spend those time idling in front of my com...browsing around webbies or grab some soul to talk to. if not i wil hang out with my dear friends.

i can sense a break real soon... block leave is ard e corner

hahaha. yea another early bookout than the rest.
I FINALLY PASS MY SOC today. 9min20secs.
tho it was nowhere near those irritatin PTIs standard.
but it was sufficient to clear even my 2nd year requirement.

anyway i wasnt in the mood to take
cos my platoon only got 7 of us taking today.

i still rem that all mind wan was "TO PASS" so i ran the last 600m with almost my life with about 3min left to pass. haha breath-taking man!

yea. tat's all for army. dun wan to say liao.
so the problem between my two dear friends looks like solving itself
one has moved on. the other one, i duno.

2.5 DAY. exclude the sunday guard duties.

happily booked out today afternoon
aft clocking under 8min for running 1.6km SOC.
obstacles cancelled due to rain.

tml is off day. so gg back on SUNDAY.
GREAT. after running so much...
i tink i fall in love with running le.

MONDAY 2359

Wow. Off till 2359 after helping the stayback troops
to complete their guard duties.

so i went around to get some storage boxes
Muji seems good enough but till i saw IKEA.
haha. of cos the latter provides me with more choices
and cheaper alternative.

plus it is more fun building the boxes up YOURSELF.

Many things happened around me recently.
the Year 2009 yet to strike the midway mark
but my life already got its many UPs and DOWNs.
Strive on, as I always told myself.
Plus it is only exactly 1 more year to ORD.

I believe in fighting for what i want,
becos I believe good stuff goes around and comes around.
You must know how to cherish it.

There is something now which I duno whether is wrong or not.
But I know I do what I supposed to do,
the Rest I left it up to the critics.

I only know i cherish and go after what i think is worth my heart and soul.

Back from hiatus

hey people.
so nice to be back in singapore
and having a whole week of off.

taiwan was fun again.
but with a very tight schedule for R&R
we did try to enjoy to the max.

touched down at singapore ard 3am
and i went straight to my poly chalet
aft dumping my duffle bag at home.
played till the early morning before heading home at 10.

FUN. and so nice to see them once again.

Tuesday night was reserved for the Manures vs Gooners.
We went down to Modestos@Elizabeth Hotel to catch it LIVE.
and i waited for e dear girl for 45min. haha.
with 1hr or so to spam, we walked ard before we tot to have some supper. Modestos was q.nice, decor was done up and the place was q.spacious. So enjoyable were the sofa seats that towards the end, that huimin almost fell aslp. or rather cos her gooners is losing. haha

so the deal was for to wear the manutd jersey if the gooners lost. haha
and she did w/o fuss. cool. the best scene was when we were passing by a group of arsenal fans at the mac. they almost recognised us. we managed to make our escape.
reached at home ard 8 plus and hit bed til 5pm.

din managed to catch the opening F1 Melbourne Grand Prix.
Brawn GP won. They renamed themselves after Honda pulled out.
Ferrari went down the drains with two drivers went MIA.
Jenson Button took to the podium. 1st win of the season.

hello. undergone a lil revamp to my blog.

lots of things happened throughout this period which i din blog.

my granny passed away 2weeks ago aft a long battle with her illnesss.

i wont ever forget the love,care and concern she showered on everyone of us
esp on me n my sister. thks ah ma. u are the best granny in the world.
hope u can finally enjoy urself in the other world.

moving on... the pace in camp now is pretty alright.
embarking soon to taiwan
while before tat..hell lots of preparation esp.
we will be the one guarding singapore for the next few weeks.
we wil be making sure that all of us are ready when the call arise to activate us.

Back From Brunei

met up with crystal last nite.
landed up at e quay and it is drinking time.
her friends left one by one and in the end
we are the only two left.

nice catching up with her; something i haven done for super long.
knocked off on my bed at 3am.
not drunk. miracle.

the next morning was awakened up by my cousins.
tot of cont'ding sleeping until i saw Isabelle.
she is a 3years-old kiddie brought over by my aunt [babysit].
she not simple okay... naughty to the extent of putting her
droppings into her dad mouth while he was sleeping. OMG.

audacious. dont kena faked by her innocent look.

well okay. being unable to disclose much about what i did in brunei. (i supposed?) Let me share with you some other stuffs retaining to this trip.

INCIDENT 1

"erm... guys if we are correct, that is if we are correct, another 100metre or so, we will reach our next checkpoint. Let's push on,guys!" XXX said. haha. Basically that means LET'S HOPE WE WONT HOLAN. In the end, we stil 'holaned'.
well if u dono; in army HOLAN means getting lost in navigation or gone out of track.

INCIDENT 2

the most fun thing i felt was collecting portable water from the streams inside
the jungle. to my surprise, the water is super cool and
it just taste pretty normal [aft adding the purify tablets hee.].

the streams look something like tat on the right.
except tat our version is much narrower and the surrounding
is darker.

As for R&R in Brunei. It is just equivalent to M&M. Mosques & Museums.

I just love the feelin of being at the arrival hall aft a trip oversea. I feel the fullness of HOME.

gotten 3 days off to enjoy ourselves before embarking on this trip.

our dear peiqi cant catch enough glimpses of Darren man... haha
so we got to drag her away.

went home at 2.
just managed to catch the red devils playing at OT against SPURS.

well we WON again ... 2-1...

went to shop again lo with my dearie pz

met up quite late cos i over-slept.
haha. nvr-d-less finished our dinner and
the time read 830pm... = ) and that means only 1.5hr left to shop.
all shops shld open till 12 man!
but still managed to grab a cardigan at pull n bear.

reached home to catch the red devils taking bolton.
the devils threatened to open the scoring but jussi kept denying them
but it wasnt to be in the end as berbatov scores from close range to send
united back to TOP!

a revamped blog to embrace the new year.
i closed year 2008 on a pleasant note by attaining
the "BEST TRAINEE" award in my mortar course.

A very rewarding 2008 for with success in studies and so on.

Still not much luck in love yet. still searching la.
